On May 8th, 2010 a group of TAII volunteers had a special visit to the residents living at Dogwood Forest Assisting Living Home in Alpharetta, GA for Mother’s day. TAII volunteers celebrated residents' Mother’s day and tried to make their day different than their routine schedule.
Following introductions, participants enjoyed warm conversations and watched a DVD about Turkey. This viewing was so popular that is was shown twice upon request from the residents. Turkish food prepared by TAII volunteers was a hit as well . Everyone wanted TAII volunteers to visit them again.
We’re looking forward to visiting them soon.
